Wilston State School is a large primary school catering for students in Prep to Year 6. Established in 1920, we take great pride in our history and our school community.
Our school generally services the communities of Wilston, Grange and Alderley and has an enrolment management plan, enabling our enrolment to remain stable at approximately 900 students.
We believe that staff and parents need to work together with students to ensure they know what their learning goals are and what the next step is, for them to be successful learners.
As a school, we closely monitor student data to ensure that all students are demonstrating appropriate growth in their learning each term and we have a culture of feedback for learning and collective efficacy to ensure this occurs.
The world is changing exponentially and our job is to prepare our students for the technologies and jobs that will exist in the future and equip them with the skills for a happy and fulfilled life.
