Incursions and Excursions
Students will be given the opportunity to be involved in various incursions and excursions during the school year which will reinforce work undertaken in the classroom. These have been planned to enrich their knowledge of the community and environment, and to widen their knowledge of the activities and the occupations of people in the community.
No student is permitted to participate without
the written consent of parents.
Some excursions or incursions require payment for students to be able to attend. When this is needed, parents/carers will be sent communication outlining costs, venues, times and any travel arrangements; as well as a Tax Invoice. Payment plans can be negotiated with our Business Manager if required.
It is school policy that students participating in excursions must wear formal school uniform, unless otherwise directed.
Camps
The school has an extensive camping program for Years 4-6. Camps involve students in educational activities which do not occur in the classroom.
Parents/carers are encouraged to send their children on these educational experiences. Parents/carers will be given advance notice of these camps. Details relevant to camps will be forwarded to parents as appropriate.
